Brooklyn rock group Geese has announced its third studio album, “Getting Killed,” due 26 September through Partisan Records. The record is the band’s first since 2023’s “3D Country” and marks its debut as a four-piece following the departure of guitarist Foster Hudson. Produced in Los Angeles with Kenneth “Kenny Beats” Blume, the 11-track LP was introduced today by the lead single “Taxes,” whose release was accompanied by a music video. Frontman Cameron Winter sings, “If you want me to pay my taxes, you better come over with a crucifix,” over metallic drums and shifting guitar lines. To celebrate the announcement, Geese plans a free show in Brooklyn’s Herbert Von King Park on 8 July. A wider North American run, the “Getting Killed Tour,” will start 10 October in South Burlington, Vermont, and visit major U.S. and Canadian cities before concluding with two hometown dates at Brooklyn Paramount on 20–21 November.
