FX’s restaurant dramedy “The Bear” picked up 13 nominations for its third season as the Television Academy unveiled the 2025 Emmy slate, lifting the show’s cumulative tally to 49 nominations and 21 wins across three seasons. Central to the haul is a landmark double honor for Ayo Edebiri. The actor-writer earned a third straight nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and, for her directorial debut on Season 3’s episode “Napkins,” became the first woman ever nominated in the same year for acting and directing in a comedy category. Other returning nominees from “The Bear” include Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Liza Colón-Zayas. Winners will be announced at the 77th Emmy Awards, airing live on CBS and Paramount+ on Sept. 14.
