Warner Bros. Games and TT Games unveiled “Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight” during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase. The title, developed in partnership with the Lego Group, is scheduled for release in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. Billed as a celebration of the Caped Crusader’s 85-year history, the game weaves together storylines and visual elements from numerous Batman films, comics and previous videogames. Players will explore an open-world Gotham City—navigating skyscrapers by cape or cruising streets in multiple versions of the Batmobile—and can switch between Batman and partner characters including Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Robin and Batgirl. Combat borrows from Rocksteady’s Arkham series, while new voice work features comedian-actor Matt Berry as Bane. The project is TT Games’ first major release since 2022’s Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and signals the studio’s continued push toward larger, more open-ended Lego adaptations.
