HBO has unveiled the quartet of actors who will portray most of the Weasley siblings in its forthcoming live-action adaptation of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter novels, scheduled to debut in 2027. Twins Tristan and Gabriel Harland will play pranksters Fred and George, Ruari Spooner takes the role of rule-bound Percy, and Gracie Cochrane is cast as youngest sister Ginny. They join Alastair Stout, previously announced as Ron Weasley. The announcement leaves three members of the wizarding family still to be named: dragon-handler Charlie, curse-breaking elder brother Bill and patriarch Arthur. Katherine Parkinson was earlier confirmed as Molly Weasley. Warner Bros. Discovery says production is under way at its Leavesden studios outside London. The multi-season series is expected to run for roughly a decade and aims to offer a closer, book-by-book retelling than the original eight-film franchise.
