Studio MAPPA premiered the main trailer for “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” during its panel at Anime Expo 2025 in Los Angeles on 3 July, confirming key release details for the first feature-length entry in the hit anime franchise. The film will open in Japanese cinemas on 19 September before beginning a global rollout on 24 September. Sony Pictures will distribute the picture exclusively in U.S. theaters from 29 October. Singer-songwriter Kenshi Yonezu, who scored the television series’ breakout theme “Kick Back,” returns with the new song “IRIS OUT.” MAPPA also introduced additional cast members, including Hidenori Takahashi, Kenji Akabane, Kenji Nomura and Eri Kitamura. Advance ticket sales in Japan start on 18 July, with various premium bundles offered through cinemas, convenience stores and online retailers.
