Nintendo has announced "My Mario," a new product line targeted at young children, which includes toys, clothing, an app, and building blocks that also function as amiibo. The range is set to launch in Japan in August 2025, with select products becoming available worldwide in 2026. The accompanying mobile app, "Hello, Mario!", allows children to interact with Mario's face in playful ways, reminiscent of the start menu feature from the classic Nintendo 64 game Super Mario 64. Additionally, Nintendo plans to release a free game for Switch and tablet platforms and is exploring new types of controller inputs. The wooden Mario building blocks, part of the toddler range, are noted for their design and functionality, with some sets priced up to £100.
