Peacock has released the first trailer for “The Paper,” the inaugural spin-off of NBC’s hit sitcom “The Office.” Co-created and run by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, the mockumentary series follows the same documentary crew that filmed Dunder Mifflin as it turns its cameras on a declining Midwestern newspaper, The Truth Teller. Domhnall Gleeson headlines as new editor-in-chief Ned Sampson, joined by Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg and Ramona Young. Oscar Nuñez reprises his role as accountant Oscar Martinez, providing the bridge to the original series. Executive producers include “The Office” creators Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant alongside Howard Klein, Ben Silverman and Banijay Americas. Peacock will make the first four episodes available on 4 September 2025, with the 10-episode season rolling out weekly thereafter.
