Nintendo said it will add the 2005 GameCube title “Chibi-Robo!” to the Nintendo Classics library on Switch 2 on Aug. 21, expanding the catalogue of legacy games offered through the subscription service. The puzzle-platformer will be the fifth GameCube release available to subscribers of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass, which also includes titles such as F-Zero GX and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. Access to the GameCube library costs $49.99 a year under the Expansion Pass tier. To complement the launch, Nintendo will sell a replica GameCube controller for ¥7,980, giving players the option of recreating the original control scheme. The company is gradually bolstering the Classics lineup ahead of additional announced ports, including Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi’s Mansion.
